Joetta Stewart Gay, 63, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at University of Kentucky Hospital. Born October 9, 1954 in Shelbyville, KY, Joetta was the daughter of Loretta Stewart and the late Joseph William Stewart.

Joetta was retired from the Human Resources department at Toyota. She was a member of Shelbyville Christian Church. She loved horses and attending horse shows. She also enjoyed reading and playing games.

Joetta is survived by her husband, Steve Gay of Lawrenceburg, KY; her son, Keegan Gay of Louisville, KY; her brother, William Lauren (Melva) Stewart of Shelbyville, KY; and her nephew, Evan Michael Stewart.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 28 ^th beginning at 1:00 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 27 ^th from 5:30 - 8:30 PM and Saturday prior to the service from 11 AM – 1 PM. Cremation was chosen.

Honorary pallbearers will be Keegan Gay, Evan Stewart, Garrick Gay, Gabe Uebel, Lauren Stewart, and Bart Sayre.
