Joe Martin Goodlett, 80, of Frankfort, formerly of Salvisa, husband of the late Shirley Jane Puckett Goodlett, passed away February 12, 2022 at his home.  Born in Mercer County, KY on February 16, 1941, Joe was the son of the late Charles and Cora Goodlett.

A retired supervisor for Trane Company in Lexington, Joe served in the Army National Guard and was a member of the St. John's Masonic Lodge #125 in Salvisa, KY and the Kirkwood Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Melissa G. Harrod and her husband Paul of Frankfort; a granddaughter, Bailey Harrod; and eight brothers and sisters.  Along with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Kelly Goodlett and six siblings.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11 – 1 PM Tuesday, followed by the service beginning at 1:00 PM Tues., February 15 ^th at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg.  The service will be officiated by Rusty Fitzpatrick. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Young, Kevin Goodlett, David "Bubby" Brown, Danny Drury, Paul Harrod, and Preston Pearl.
