Joann "Jo" Irene Hersh Thomas, 77, of Frankfort, formerly of Fort Collins and Loveland, Colorado, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015 at her home.

Born December 5, 1937 in Fort Collins, CO, Jo was the daughter of the late Margarete Regis and Elmer Hersh. Jo formerly worked in hospitality at Hampton Inn and was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church in Frankfort, KY. She enjoyed voting, playing poker, and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Alan L. (Yvonne) Beghtol of Lawrenceburg and Lori (Kevin) Litke of Frankfort; four grandchildren, Kayla Beghtol, Jesse James Litke, Tony Jo Litke, and Matthew Litke; two great grandchildren, Cassandra Litke and Jesse James Litke, Jr.; a brother, Donald (Peggy) Hersh of Wilder, TN; two sisters, Helen Finney of Loveland, CO and Margie Hoyt of Fort Collins, CO; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Jo's life will be held at a later date at Memorial Baptist Church in Frankfort, KY and also in Loveland, Colorado.
