Jo Ann Drury, age 71, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021 in Frankfort.  Jo Ann was born December 20, 1949 in Anderson County, KY to the late Alvin D. Drury and Nellie Mae Riley Drury.

Including her parents, Jo Ann was preceded in death by her son, Michael Glenn Waldridge.

Jo Ann was a former Administrative Assistant with the Kentucky State Government, and a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

Jo Ann is survived by two daughters, Heather Jeannean Simpson-Dawson of Frankfort, and Amanda Strasser;  seven grandchildren, Melody Ann Devers, Maddison Isabella Simpson, Bethany Ritchie, Katrina Cornett, Jessica Douglas, Emma Waldridge and Michael Waldridge;  a great granddaughter, Michelle Douglas;  two sisters, Brenda Sue Sanders of Shelbyville, and Mary Katherine Hodgkin (John) of Frankfort;  a brother, Gary Wayne Drury (Sandra) of Florida;  several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Susan Cox of Lawrenceburg;  and a special friend, Florick Kawaley of Frankfort.

No public services are scheduled.
