Jinnie Mae Rucker Bixler, age 77, passed away November 30, 2022 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.  Born in Anderson County, KY on September 2, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Richard Rucker and Ophelia Mills Rucker.

A member, usher and prayer warrior at the Evergreen Baptist Church, she also sang in the choir at the Second Christian Church in Lawrenceburg.  She served on the board of the Woodlawn Hills Cemetery.  She enjoyed cooking, her flower beds, yard sales, and Christmas time.  Besides her Heavenly Father, her greatest love was her family and her grandkids.

Her family left to mourn her passing are her husband of 59 years, William Earl Bixler; three children, Earlene (Bernard) Handley of Louisville, William J. Bixler of Frankfort, and Rodney Bixler of Lawrenceburg; her grandchildren, Shante, Shanele, Patrick, Shaylon, Kagen, Bailey, Ashaya, Kyson, Trinity, Michael, Ashley, Ceara, Cameron, Markel, and Kendrick; 16 great grandchildren; a sister, Linda Hudson of Lawrenceburg; and a brother, Rev. Johnny K. Cunningham (wife Judith) of Lawrenceburg; and a host of nieces and nephews from Shelbyville; and her caregiver, Vickie Wright.  Along with her parents, Jinnie was preceded in death by her grandson, Denton; and a brother, Robert H. Cunningham.

Homegoing service will be 1:00 PM Friday, December 9, 2022 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Rev. Will Howard and Rev. Joe Marshall will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5 – 8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dae'Jon Rucker, De'Shaylon Bixler, Shaylon Bixler, Jr., Ja'Shawn Ramirez, Cameron Bixler, and junior pallbearers, Donavan Thomas and Tarion Bixler.
