Jimmy Green (Arthur James, Jr.), age 59, of Lawrenceburg, died unexpectedly at his home on Friday, March 20, 2015. He was the son of the late Arthur James, Sr. and Betty Bates Green.

He is survived by his two sisters: Johanna Green (Billy) Crawford, Jenny Green (Bob) Sarver, all of Lawrenceburg, KY, one nephew Dr. Robert Allen (Dr. Mary Beth) Sarver and one great nephew Rylan Allen Sarver of Spartanburg, South Carolina, his aunt Barbara Bates Catlett of Nicholasville, KY, and his beloved dog Berocco. Jimmy is also survived by many cousins and lifelong friends.

He was a 1973 graduate of Anderson County High School and attended the University of Kentucky. He was a member of First Christian Church of Lawrenceburg. He was previously a partner of Kyler and Green Construction Company. He was currently employed with Hubert Excavating.

Memorial services will be 11 am Wednesday, March 25th at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Rev. James Wheeler officiating. Visitation will be 4 – 8 pm Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Anderson County Humane Society, P.O. Box 494 or First Christian Church (Backpack Buddies), 300 South Main St., both in Lawrenceburg, KY 40342.

Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Gillis, Bob Mugge, Jay Crawford, Gary Kyler, Bill Patrick, Mike Shryock, Maurice Hawkins, Brian Renaud, Lance Hubert, Bob Sarver, Billy Crawford, and Rob Sarver.
