James Ray "Jimmy" Coubert, age 60, husband of Julie Carol Cox Coubert, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023. Jimmy was born January 18, 1963 in Woodford County, KY to Margaret Lee Cox Coubert of Midway, and the late Otis Coubert.

Jimmy was a mechanic, and former employee with Jimmy Gaunce Midway Auto in Midway, KY. As a child he attended Midway Methodist Church, and always dreamed of owning a Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He enjoyed watching Drag Car and NASCAR races, mowing his lawn, fishing, and loved his grandkids with his whole heart.

Including his wife Julie, and mother Margaret, Jimmy is survived by two daughters, Margaret Ann Coubert of Scott County, and Hope Cox of Lawrenceburg; two step sons, Matthew Lewis and Christopher Cox-Maddox and his wife Bethany, all of Lawrenceburg; his grandchildren, Alexi Lewis, James Lopez, Isaiah Lopez, John Maddox, Josie Maddox, Lucas Kelly, Nehemiah Brandon and Ryan Moore; a great grandchild, Evelynn Lewis; and a brother, Bobby Wayne "Shorty" Coubert of Midway.

Including his father Otis, Jimmy was preceded in death by a step son, Timothy Dale Lewis; and a brother, Douglas Allen Coubert.

A Celebration Of Life gathering will be held, 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at the Ninevah Christian Church, 1195 Ninevah Road, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342.
