Jessica Marie Kays, 34, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. She is the daughter of Melanie Carol Lewis West and Ronald Stewart West.

A 2000 graduate of Anderson County High School, Jessica was a former employee of Frisch's in Frankfort, attended the Full Gospel Assembly of God Church and enjoyed drawing and painting.

Along with her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandmother, Mary Hazel Lewis of Lawrenceburg; a sister Leslie Denise Kays of Frankfort, and a brother Joshua Aaron (Christy) Kays of Lawrenceburg; uncles, Sonny, Nicky and Anthony Lewis and J.R. Kays; aunts, Sherry Osborne and Bobbie Kays; cousins, David Lewis, Michael (Megan) Lewis, Hannah (Kurtis) Chowning, Christopher Kelly, Jessica L. (Chris) Lawson; and her best friend Ashley Gill. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Richard Darrell Lewis.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Friday at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Studler and Kenny Robinson officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Frankfort. Visitation will be 4 – 8 pm Thursday.

Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Kays, Nicky, Anthony, David, and Michael Lewis, and Christopher Kelly.
