Jerome Carman Stratton, 72, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Homestead Post Acute in Lexington, KY. Born November 24, 1944 in Casey County, KY, Jerome was the daughter of the late Ulysses and Gladys Warner Carmen.

A 1963 graduate of Madison Central High School in Richmond, Jerome worked 15 years with Animal Control for the Anderson County Fiscal Court. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and loved taking care of animals.

Jerome is survived by a son Ray Buford (Buffy) Stratton; a grandson Nathan Stratton; a brother Freddie Carman; and a sister Fredia Fletcher. She was preceded in death by a son Anthony Lynn Stratton and a sister, Jean Isaacs.

Services will be held at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery pavilion on Monday, July 17 ^th beginning at 11:00 AM. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 9 AM Monday at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.
