Jeremy Shane Kays, 48, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 at his residence in Louisville. Born July 4, 1972 in Franklin County, Jeremy was the son of Susan Crawford Kays Johnson (Rod) and Jeff Kays (Michele), all of Lawrenceburg.
Jeremy was a 1990 graduate of Anderson County High School, where he was a member of the undefeated 1986 Bearcat Football team. He was also a former youth football coach and lifelong fan of America's team, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Louisville Cardinals.
Jeremy was one of the best car salesmen in the Kentuckiana area, most recently known as "Your Car Guy" at I Deal Autos in Louisville.
One of his favorite pastimes was bragging to anyone who would listen about his niece and nephew, Evan and Colin, and all of their athletic endeavors and achievements! Jeremy was a great friend to many and will be remembered for his fun personality, big laugh, and love of a good time!
In addition to his parents, survivors include his brother, Travis Kays (Jenny) and niece and nephew, Evan and Colin Kays, all of Lawrenceburg; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he loved very much.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 am Saturday November 7, 2020 followed by a Celebration of Jeremy's Life at 11:00 am at Hope Community Church, 5930 U.S. 127 South, Frankfort, KY.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. The family welcomes donations to the charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.

To abide by the regulations set forth by the State of Kentucky all persons attending a visitation or funeral (public or private) will be required to wear a face covering and practice social distancing. Fifty (50%) occupancy of the funeral home/church will be in practice. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
