Jennifer "Jenny" Lynn Young Currens, 47, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the U.K. Medical Center, Lexington, KY. Born April 8, 1970 in Louisville, KY, Jenny was the daughter of the late Howard and Elizabeth Carol Stephens Young.

Jenny currently worked in the Office of the Kentucky Attorney General. She was a graduate of Western Hills High School and held a degree in Social Services. She loved her two daughters and enjoyed riding and caring for horses.

Jenny is survived by her two daughters, Lauren Elizabeth Redding and Gracen Bethany Redding, both of Lawrenceburg, her aunt, Eula Doris Hancock of Clarksville, IN, and numerous close friends.

A time of visitation will be held Tuesday, September 12 ^th from 4 – 7 PM followed by a service beginning at 7 PM at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Rev. Jim Wheeler and Rev. Micki McHugh will officiate the service. Cremation will follow the services.
