Jennie Carolyn Hudgins Sparks, 70, wife of 30 years to James Edward Sparks, passed away, Thursday, December 9, 2021 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort.

Jennie was born January 13, 1951 in Owen County, Kentucky.  She was an assistant manager with Dollar General for over 20 years,  and formerly attended the Hilltop Church of  God in Lawrenceburg.  Jennie enjoyed fishing with her husband James, sewing, arranging flowers and doing crafts.  She was also known for being a great cook, wonderful wife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Jennie was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Marie Hudgins;  and a sister, Brenda Hammons.

Including her husband James, Jennie is survived by her children, Christina Miller of Indianola, Iowa, Lisa Manley of Worthville, KY, Junior Manley of Worthville, KY and Wallie Joseph Barnes of Fort Worth, TX;  four grandchildren, Kayla Schark (Mitch), Kelsey Lourens (Colin), Stephanie Manley and Stephen Manley;  two great grandchildren, Lily Ann Jullick & Rose Marie Jullick;  two sisters, Janet Hudgins and Martha Hudgins, both of Georgetown, KY;  a brother, E.T. Hudgins of Cincinnati, OH;  and many friends.

A Celebration of Life for Jennie will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, December 12, 2021 at the Real Life Church, 2250 Old Lawrenceburg Road, Frankfort, KY  40601.  Rev. Don Carter will officiate the service.
