Jeffry Jon Redin passed away peacefully on June 7, 2025, at the Masonic Home of Louisville – Sam Swope Care Center, after a courageous battle with frontotemporal dementia. His loved ones were by his side.

Jeffry was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, on October 3, 1962. He spent over 40 years working with his hands as a talented welder for which he owned his own business. He loved motorcycles, music, animals, and a good joke. Jeffry was a character-bold, funny, and unforgettable. He loved his family fiercely. He carried a deep sense of responsibility throughout his life, and he loved to help others. He was a good and loyal friend, and everyone loved him.

In the last years of his life, Jeffry struggled with what was eventually diagnosed as frontotemporal dementia. The disease robbed him of his old self, but never took away his sense of humor, his kindness, his courage, or his smile.

At age 16, Jeffry courageously overcame cancer, a battle that left a lasting mark. It shaped his strength and gave him a sense of fearlessness that carried through the rest of his life.

Jeffry is survived by his mother, Iva Warren; his father, Audy Redin; his sister, Deana Taylor (Lee); his children, Nicole Henricks (Cody), Tabitha Croke, and Cody Redin (Sarah); and four beautiful grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Richard Warren, and grandparents John & Evelyn Philpott.

In accordance with Jeffry's wishes, he was cremated. A celebration of life may be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to support frontotemporal dementia, cancer research, animal rescue, or a cause that is meaningful to you.
