Jeffrey Scott Perkins, 50, passed away June 18, 2020 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Born November 3, 1969 in Frankfort, KY, Jeff was the son of Brenda Ethington Owens and her husband Fred, and the late David Duwain Perkins.

Jeff was a 1987 graduate of Western High School and currently worked as a truck driver for Woodhall Construction in Lexington. Jeff never met a stranger and enjoyed playing cards and playing with his grandkids.

Along with his mother, Jeff is survived by three children, Jeffrey Dwain Perkins (wife DeeDee) of Michigan, Matthew Scott Perkins (wife Bobie) of Lawrenceburg, and Amber Nicole Perkins of Lawrenceburg; four grandchildren, Ayden Ryker Drury, Brandon Brown, Jaxson Brown, and Autumn Jade Perkins; a sister, Carol Brewer (husband Jamie) of Frankfort; two brothers, David Perkins (wife Janet) of Greensburg, and Jason Perkins (wife Sheila) of Lawrenceburg.

Visitation will be 5 – 8 PM Monday, June 22nd at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. The service will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd beginning at 1:00 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Bo Sayre will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

To abide by the regulations set forth by the State of Kentucky effective June 20, 2020, fifty (50%) occupancy of the funeral home will be in practice and everyone is asked to wear face coverings and practice social distancing for all who attend. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
