Julius "J.C." Caesar Watkins, 78, husband of Kathy Lynn Moland Watkins, passed away, July 1, 2025, in Lexington, Ky. He was born on February 23, 1947, in Jackson, Ky to the late Marie Mann.

J.C. was a kind, giving, Christian man, who was a deacon, at Clear Creek Baptist Church. He excelled at this position because J.C. was a highly intelligent, natural leader. Everyone who knew him loved him, and he loved talking to people. J.C. was a very strong man; he served in the Army for four years during the Vietnam War Era. He was a hero to many, but especially to his family who he loved dearly. After serving in the Army, J.C. worked for the V.A. Hospital in Lexington for many years as an engineer. He had a big personality, always cracking jokes. His daughter described him as a light who drew everyone in. J.C. was a very impressive carpenter and handy man; he built every home he ever lived in and did his own home repairs when needed. One of his favorite hobbies was golfing, which he would drag his daughters to do with him, whether they wanted to or not. He loved traveling, and moved to Florida for several years, because of his love of the ocean.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Rex Robinson and his grandson, Conner Pike.

In addition to his wife, Kathy, he is survived by his three daughters, Melissa Pike (Keith) and Michelle Graham (Mike) both of Lawrenceburg, and Shannon Robinson (Jerry Cornett) of Versailles; six grandchildren, Ryan Pike (Amanda), Michael Graham, Samantha Graham, Darian Robinson, Caleb Robinson, and Jay Robinson; two great grandchildren, Ryder Pike and Bexley Pike; and his wife's family who he loved dearly.

The family will be having a private service with Bro. Dave Menser of Clear Creek Baptist Church officiating.
