Janice Louise Kays Cunningham, age 65, passed away September 11, 2026 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY.  Born in Frankfort, KY on August 11, 1961, Janice was the daughter of the late Donnie Everette Kays and Betty Sharfe Kays Housley.

A graduate of Anderson County High School, Janice received her certification as a surgical technician and formerly worked at University of Kentucky Hospital.  She was an animal lover and especially loved dogs.

Janice is survived by her husband of 20 years Michael Lee Cunningham; her daughters, Kristen K. Sullivan and Mandy (Ronald) Williamson; stepsons, Joshua Lee Cunningham and Michael James Cunningham; four grandchildren, Chandler Craine, Brianna George, Landon and Hunter Williamson; one step grandson Jordan Isiah Cunningham; and one great grandchild, Kason George; and her brothers, Tony (Susan) Kays and Jeff (Michele) Kays.

No public services will be held.  According to her wishes, Janice will be cremated.
