Janet Mae Peach Johnson, 63, of Lawrenceburg, wife of 43 years of Floyd L. Johnson, Sr., passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

Born July 28, 1952 in Shelbyville, KY, Janet is the daughter of the late Walter Everett Peach and Virginia Fae Barnett Peach. Including her parents, Janet was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Ellen "Sissy" Johnson and a sister, Marlene Hawkins Sloan.

Janet worked as a cook for 18 years at Heritage Hall Care Center in Lawrenceburg. A member of the Glensboro Baptist Church, Janet loved listening to Loretta Lynn and was a member of the Loretta Lynn Fan Club.

Along with her husband, Janet is survived by two children, Sharon Lynn Reynolds and her husband Scott and Floyd L. Johnson, Jr. and his wife Penny Smith-Johnson, all of Lawrenceburg; seven grandchildren, Jacob Reynolds, Johnathan Simpson, Tyler Reynolds, Nathanial Guinn, Olivia Reynolds, Cole Johnson, and Kyle Johnson; one great grandchild, Lacey Lynn Bureleson; 10 brothers and sisters, Everett Ray Peach, Darlene Searcy, Terry Lynn Peach, Darrell Wayne Peach, Michael Ernest Peach, Kenneth Edward Peach, Kathy Peach, Donna Jean Peach, Margaret Ellen Reynolds, and Roger Dale Peach; 3 brothers-in-law, John Allen Johnson, David Ryan Johnson, and Charles Robert Johnson; and a sister-in-law, Susan Marie McChargue.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 3rd at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Glenn Corn officiating. Burial will follow in a family cemetery in Anderson County. Visitation will be 4 – 8 Tuesday.

Serving has pallbearers will be Roger, Jacob, and Cole Johnson, Jacob and Tyler Reynolds, and Johnathan Simpson. Honorary bearers will be Kyle, Joe, and Charlie Johnson, Nathaniel Guinn, and Ryan Beasley.
