LAWRENCEBURG – Janet Lee Smith Drury, age 65, wife of 48 years to Joey Allen Drury, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at her residence in Anderson County. Janet was born April 22, 1957 to the late Victor Smith and Barbara Phillips Smith.

Janet was a homemaker. She loved to cook for her family, and putting out her garden. Janet's favorite thing in life though, was her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Janet married the love of her life, Joey Allen Drury, on January 24, 1975. Including Joey, Janet is survived by her two children, David Drury (Leslie), and Joanna Rains (David Earl); three grandchildren, Austin Drury (Gracie), Jessie Drury (Tyler), Levi Rains, and Luke Rains; six great grandchildren, Octavia, Matthew, Roman, Elijah, Atticus, and Waylon; and four siblings, Cathy, Vicki, Phylis, and Phillip.

No public services are scheduled. Janet chose cremation.
