Jane Jordan Sage, 88, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023.  Jane was born November 4, 1934 in Ashland, KY to the late William Allen Jordan and Dorothy Frances Gelder Jordan. Jane was preceded in death by two husbands, Robert E. Cox, Sr. and Donald Ray Sage.

Jane was a homemaker, a member of the Sand Spring Baptist Church, the Path Finder's Sunday School Class and received a bachelor's degree from Transylvania University in 1956.

Jane is survived by her children, Nancy Lipsey (Spivey) of Louisville, Robert Eugene Cox, Jr. (Pam) of Frankfort and Mitzi Mann Brown (Scott) of Lawrenceburg;  eight grandchildren, Spivey Lipsey, III (Andrea), Alex Kinder (Andrew), Miles Cox (Ashlie), Clay Cox (Whitney), Grant Cox (Shawna), Ross Jordan Cox (Madeline), Evan Brown (Alex) and Spencer Brown (Emmie);  10 great grandchildren;  her step children, Marty Sage (Carol), Louisville, Tama Marcum, Shelbyville, Missy Collins (Cleve), Atlanta, GA and Amy Alvey (John) of Louisville;  several step grandchildren and great grandchildren;  two sisters, Frances Beard of Sarasota, FL and Willie Clark (Steve) of Bowling Green, KY.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held from 1 - 3 PM Saturday, November 4, 2023 followed by a Celebration of Jane's Life at 3:00 P.M. at the Sand Spring Baptist Church, 1616 Harrodsburg Road, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342.  Dr. Mike Hamrick will officiate the service.

A private burial was previously held at the Lebanon National Cemetery in Lebanon, KY.
