Jana Vee Walker Riley, 66, wife of 35 years to Danny G. Riley, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 at her home. Born June 17, 1952 in St. Helena, CA, Jana was the daughter of the late Horace Witherspoon Walker, Jr. and Anna Vee York Densberger.

Jana was a retired pharmacy technician with Rite Aid in Lawrenceburg and a former employee of Florida Tile and Heritage Hall. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and a charter member of the American Legion Post #34 Auxiliary.

Along with her husband, Jana is survived by four children, Troy Dean (Michelle) Downing of Nicholasville, Eric Gene (Amy) Downing and Marc Aaron (Christina) Downing of Lawrenceburg, and Vincent Francisco Garcia of Valdosta, GA; four stepchildren, Kimberly Dawn (Kelly) Butcher of Lawrenceburg, Loretta (Ramia) Gilmore of Lexington, Danny G. Riley Jr. (Samantha Bishop) of Lexington and Joshua Riley (Savanah Harrington) of Nicholasville; 3 grandchildren, Jacob Downing, Jessica Downing, and Katy Roberts; 11 step-grandchildren; and her siblings, Elizabeth Ann (Bobby) Hume of Lawrenceburg, Randall Cree Walker of Paducah, Ronald Eugene Walker of CA, Donna Lanell Guissanie of CA, Howard James Densberger, Jr. of CA, and half siblings, Krista Janeen (Chris) Hegwood of TX and Kevin Ray (Sherry) Walker of Lawrenceburg.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 13 ^th from 1 – 5 PM. Honors will be given by the American Legion Auxiliary beginning at 5 PM Sunday followed by the funeral service at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Pastors Jan McKenzie, Marius Serban and Greg Taylor will officiate the service. Cremation will follow the services.
