Janice Sue "Jan" Stucker, 69, of Lawrenceburg, passed away January 11, 2023 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.  Born April 30, 1953 in Frankfort, KY, Jan was the daughter of the late Marvin Stucker and Antha Mae Duncan Stucker.

A 1971 graduate of Anderson High School, she received her Business Administration Degree from the University of Kentucky in 1975.  She retired from the Medicaid Division of Kentucky Dept. of Health and Human Resources.  A member of the Sand Spring Baptist Church, Jan loved her cats, horses, U.K. Wildcats, country music, especially Vince Gill, and was a breeder of Registered Hereford cows.

Survivors include two aunts, Jean Hogg and Joyce Stucker of Lawrenceburg, many cousins, and a special friend and caregiver, Nona Perez of Versailles.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be 11 AM – 1 PM Monday, January 16, 2023 followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM Monday at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Dr. Mike Hamrick will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Stucker, John David Stucker, Edward Curtsinger, Robert Shearer, II, Richard Shearer, and Robert Shearer.
