James L. "Jim" Wells, 87, husband of the late Florence Marie Wright Wells, passed away April 24, 2025 at The Willows in Harrodsburg, KY.  Born in Anderson County on February 13, 1938, he was the son of the late Clinton Wells and Nola Mae Brothers Wells.

A graduate of Western High School in Anderson County, Jim lived in the Fairview area of Anderson County most of his life.  He served in the U.S. Army Military Police.  Jim worked as a farmer and retired from Kuhlman Electric in Versailles.

Jim is survived by his sisters, Deanna Campbell of Lawrenceburg and Linda Sue Bowers of Santa Claus, IN; three nephews, Shane Campbell of Virginia, Todd Bowers and Daniel Bowers of Indiana; a niece, Tammy Bowers of Florida; and 7 great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday at Fairview Cemetery in Anderson County, KY.  No public visitation will be held.
