James Wayne Lucas McMurray, infant son of James Adam McMurray and Jordan Elizabeth Cassano of Salvisa, KY, was stillborn on April 10, 2025, at Baptist Health in Lexington, KY.

James was lovingly surrendered back to Jesus and was deeply loved. He will be forever held in his family's hearts and cradled in the arms of Jesus. "My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart, my portion forever." Psalm 73:26

In addition to his loving parents, James is survived by his siblings, Adrienne McMurray, Ryan Boblitt, and Christian McMurray; maternal grandparents, Wess and Betsy Reynolds of Berea, KY; paternal grandparents, James McMurray of Versailles, KY and Linda McMurray of Frankfort, KY; maternal great grandmother Brenda Perry of Salvisa, KY; and paternal great grandmother Christine McMurray of Salvisa, KY. He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfather, Ronnie Perry; his paternal great grandfather, Adrian McMurray; and his paternal great uncle, Olson Wayne McMurray, who was his namesake.
