James Marvin "Jim" Bryant, 74, of Lawrenceburg, husband of Jane E. Kothman Bryant, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016. Born December 9, 1941 in Columbus, OH, Jim was the son of the late Paul Everett and Ethel Melvin Bryant. He was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Bowling.
Jim was a salesman for Brown Food Service in Louisa, KY for 13 years. An active member of the Lawrenceburg United Methodist Church, Jim worked with the Risk Taking Mission Team and the Senior Citizens. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, and most of all his family.
Along with his wife Jane, Jim is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Bryant Haney (husband Roger) of Fairfield, CT, Kathryn Eileen "Katie" Murphy (husband Paul) of Winchester; three sons, Paul David Bryant (wife Melissa) of Troy, OH, Carl Lee Bryant of Piqua, OH, and Charles Michael Bryant (wife Kimberly) of Pleasant Hill, OH; 8 grandchildren, A.J. (wife Allie), Kent (wife Kaila) Bryant, Jake and Ellie Haney, Alexis and Logan Bryant, Noah and Elijah Murphy; 2 great grandchildren, Peyton and Carson Bryant.
Cremation was chosen. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016 beginning at 11:00 AM at the Lawrenceburg United Methodist Church. A time of visitation will be held from 9:30 – 11 AM Saturday at the church.
