James Edward "Eddie" Thacker, 62, husband of 35 years to Sandy Hall Thacker, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington. Born October 2, 1954, Eddie was the son of the late James Everett "Chink" Thacker, Jr. and Gayle Bond Sea Thacker.

A 1972 graduate of Anderson County High School, Eddie was a former employee of Lexmark. He was a member of the Sand Spring Baptist Church, Beaver Creek Masonic Lodge, and enjoyed fishing, camping, go-kart racing with his son, and spending time with his family and friends.

Including his wife Sandy, Eddie is survived by two children, Tiffany Sizemore and her husband Brad and Luke Thacker and his wife Sarah Runyon Thacker, and two grandsons, Ethan and Nate Sizemore, all of Lawrenceburg.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, Oct. 19th at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Hamrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Sand Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 – 8 PM.

Serving as pallbearers will be Scotty Dunn, Eddie Hatchett, Bobby and Billy Thacker, Kenny and Kelly Sea.
