James Thomas Campbell, 79, husband of Melinda Sue Christmas Campbell, passed away April 6, 2021 at his home in Lawrenceburg.  Born July 27, 1941 in Jefferson County, KY, James was the son of the late Louis Campbell and Hattie Cornn Campbell.  He was raised by the late Ellsie and Ottish Cornn.

A former employee of IBM, James also farmed and loved horses.  He served in the U.S. Army and was of the Baptist faith.

Including Melinda, his wife, James is survived by a son, Terry (wife Maddison) Cline of Lawrenceburg; Maegan Rose and Melody Adams, both of Lawrenceburg; and three grandchildren, Carson Paul Cline, Raelynn Priscilla June Campbell, and Colton Lewis Ellis.

No public services will be held.  Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
