Jackie Lynn Wells Memorial Service LIVE Broadcast

Jackie Lynn Crum Wells, age 78, of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, passed away on August 26, 2026. She was the beloved wife of 60 years to John "Tommy" Thomas Wells. Jackie was born on November 11, 1947, in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to the late Joseph Crum and Esta Burchett Crum.

Jackie went to college at Prestonsburg Community College, where she developed the skills that got her hired by the State. She worked in the Department of Disability Determination as a case examiner. Jackie married the love of her life, Tommy, on June 4, 1966, and they had their child a year later. Many things made Jackie who she was, but being a grandmother is a title that she held closest to her heart. Jackie loved her family and always made sure they put Christ first. She raised her family at Alton Baptist Church, where she was a member for many years. In her spare time, Jackie loved to play Baptist Hymnals on her piano. Jackie had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel. In some of her later years, she would travel with her friends who she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her siblings; John (Charlotte) Crum and Peggy (Ken) Pointer; as well as her brother-in-law, Eugene Fisher.

Along with her husband, Jackie is survived by a son, John Thomas Wells, II of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky; two grandsons, Jonathan Connor Wells and Ryan Huston Wells; and a sister Faye Fisher of Columbus, Ohio.

Memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Dr. Jeff Eaton will officiate the service. Visitation will be 1:00 PM until the time of service on Wednesday.
