Hiliary Paul Trent, Jr., 82, husband of 50 years to Geraldine Ross Trent, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016 at his home. Born May 15, 1934 in Anderson County, Hiliary was the son of the late Hiliary P. Trent and Gertie Cheak Trent Lyen.

Hiliary worked as a truck driver for 53 years for Lawrenceburg Transfer and previously for International Paper. A collector of antique fire trucks and antique cars, he was an original founder of the Bluegrass Chapter of the American Truck Historical Society and a former member of the Wheels of Time Car Club. In his younger years Hiliary was a member of the Fox Creek Christian Church. He currently attended the First Christian Church.

Along with his wife Geraldine, he is survived by four children, Paul (Lou) Trent of McKee, KY, Krista (Mark) Fatula of Punta Gorda, FL, Denise Morrow (Billy Lillia) of Venice, FL, and Sarah Trent Emmons of Lawrenceburg; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; three sisters, Mae T. "Pinkie" Clark of Lawrenceburg, Linda F. (Leroy) Casey of Long Mont, CO, and Karen T. Sparrow of Simpsonville; and a brother, Stephen D. (Lana) Trent of Lawrenceburg.

Private family services will be held at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.
