Helen "Sissy" Waford Faulkner, 65, of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Sissy was born January 5, 1961 to the late Cleo Waford and Helen Maxine Ingram Waford.

Sissy was a beloved member of Alton Christian Church, where she was a greeter for many years. She also was a member of the Alton Ruritan Club and of VETS. Sissy was an avid reader, who also loved to travel, work puzzles, and watching Little House on the Prairie. More then anything, Sissy loved children, she especially loved helping raise her nieces and nephews.

Sissy is survived by seven brothers, Coleman Waford (Dorothy), Jimmy Waford, Cleo "Pugo" Waford (Theresa), William "Billy" Waford, Larry Waford (Tammy), George Waford (Janice), and Shelby Waford (Karen); numerous nieces and nephews who she loved like her own; and her very special friends Rhonda and Noal Cotton, Jr.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Monday, April 6, 2026 at Alton Christian Church.  Bro. Noal Cotton, Jr. and Bro. Mark Webb will officiate the service.  Burial will follow at Sand Spring Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026 from 11 until the time of service.

Casket bearers will be Coleman Waford, Cleo "Pugo" Waford, William "Billy" Waford, Larry Waford, George Waford, Shelby Waford, Billy Waford, and Adam Waford.
