Helen McPherson Longlott, 86, of Lawrenceburg, widow of John Longlott, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Baptist Health Lexington. Born March 4, 1930 in Crossville, Alabama, Helen was the daughter of the late Willie B. and Pauline Gladden McPherson.

Along with her husband and parents, Helen was preceded in death by a son, Roger Widmer and a brother, Ted McPherson.

Helen is survived by a son, Bill Widmer and his wife, JoAnn of Lawrenceburg; six grandchildren, Sara Widmer of Lawrenceburg, Amy Widmer of Harrodsburg, Roger Widmer, Jr. of CA, Gary Widmer of AR, David Widmer of PA, and Billy Widmer of AK; a sister, Doris Utt of Lawrenceburg; and a brother Tom McPherson of TX.

Funeral services will be held Thursday evening, Oct. 6th beginning at 8:00 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Vernon Huber officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 – 8 PM Thursday. Burial will be Friday, Oct. 7th in Restlawn Memorial Park, Perrysburg, Ohio.
