Helen Conley Funeral Service Broadcast

Helen Elaine VanCleve Conley, 83, wife of the late Shirl "Gonzo" Conley, passed away September 16, 2024. Born in Winchester, KY on March 27, 1941, Helen was the daughter of the late Ernie VanCleve and Christine Todd VanCleve.

Helen was a member of Glensboro Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg and a devoted attendee of Sand Spring Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg. She dedicated 23 years of her life as an accounting clerk for the Kentucky Department of Transportation before retiring. Helen's vibrant spirit was reflected in her love for music festivals and gospel concerts, and she found joy in the simple pleasures of sitting on her porch and spending time with her cherished grandchildren and the family pets. Her kindness and joyful spirit will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by a daughter, Michelle (husband Chris) Stephens of Lawrenceburg; and two grandchildren, Seth and Paige Stephens both of Lawrenceburg.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg with Dr. Mike Hamrick and Bro. Glenn Corn officiating the service. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 – 8 PM Friday and 11 AM until time of service at 1 PM Saturday.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Stephens, Seth Stephens, Brian Bowman, Mark Smith, Vernon Drury, and Anthony Stratton.
