Heather Sharene Hume, 42, passed away October 5, 2022 at the University of Louisville Hospital, Louisville, KY.  Born in Lebanon, KY on April 13, 1980, she was adopted at the age of 3 months by Alice Faye Taylor of Harrodsburg and Robert J. Hume and wife Beth of Lawrenceburg.

Heather was a 1999 graduate and cheerleader at Anderson County High School.  In her early years, she was baptized at First Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg.  She loved her family, nature, collecting rocks and feathers.  Heather enjoyed living free and lived to the beat of her own drum.

Along with her parents, she is survived by her daughters, Azia Cook, Anzlee Cook, and Audrey Willard; her siblings, Wendy (Kevin) Gilliam, Robbie (Nicole) Hume, Bethany (Jon) Holt, Greg (Nancy) Taylor, Russ (Bethany) Taylor, Christopher (Danielle) Taylor, and Theresa (Jason) Cissell; and several nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 6–8 PM at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Cremation will follow the gathering.
