Harry Talmage Morris, 84, of Lawrenceburg, widower of Joyce Phillips Morris, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, August 29, 2024. Harry was born on October 10, 1939 in Mercer County, KY to the late Charles Gilliam Morris and Minnie Belle Cox.

Including his wife and parents, Harry was preceded in death by two brothers, Byron Morris and Emmett Morris; and a sister, Elizabeth Miller.

Harry was a graduate of Anderson County High School. He was a member of Anderson Christian Church in Lawrenceburg, and the Anderson Masonic Lodge #90. Harry served his country in the U.S. Army. He retired after a 30-year career as an electrical lineman with the Fox Creek and Bluegrass Energy RECC. Harry's greatest joys were watching sports, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Harry is survived by a daughter, Tammy (Scottie) Warford of Lawrenceburg, KY; a son, David Keith (Michelle) Morris of Louisville, KY; four grandchildren, Lee (Tabitha) Marshall, Tiffany Marshall, Dustin Warford, and Lila Morris; and four great grandchildren, Cassidy, Kaelynn, Bailee, and Meelaah.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 - 8 PM Tuesday and after 11 AM Wednesday until the time of service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Lee Marshall, Dustin Warford, Noel Gaines, Larry Hudson, Mark Crutcher, and Paul Proctor.
