Harold Coulter, 85, husband of the late Rose Fenwick Coulter, passed away November 19, 2022 at Heritage Hall in Lawrenceburg, KY.  Born in Washington County, KY on May 12, 1937, Harold was the son of the late John Marvin Coulter and Mildred Lanham Coulter.

Along with his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Ann Coulter, and two brothers, Marvin Coulter, Jr. and Vernon Coulter.

A graduate of Bloomfield High School, Harold retired as the World Trade Coordinator for IBM where he worked for over 33 years.  A faithful member of Sand Spring Baptist Church, he formerly served as custodian, trustee, bus ministry for 21 years, and a faithful member of the prayer ministry.  He also served on the board for Lawrenceburg Habitat for Humanity, former president of ACHS Band Boosters, and as a Cub Scout leader.

Survivors include his four children, Steven Douglas (Carmen) Coulter of Lawrenceburg, John Edward (Linda) Coulter of Richmond, Gregory Harold (Tammy) Coulter of Madison, AL, and James Anthony "Tony" (Heather) Coulter of Lawrenceburg; six grandchildren, Amber, Austin, Laura, Nathan, Grant and Ava; two step grandchildren, Greg and Clarissa; four great grandchildren, Teghan, Jennifer, Gavin and Dalton; his siblings, Darlene (Ben) Ferguson, Brenda (Al) Stevens, Russell (Brenda) Coulter, Rita Stirn, Kelly (Marilyn) Coulter, and Bruce (Debbie) Coulter; two sisters-in-law, Virginia Coulter and Venita Coulter; and a special friend, Jana Hudnall.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Sand Spring Baptist Church, 1616 Harrodsburg Rd., Lawrenceburg, KY.  Dr. Mike Hamrick will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5 – 8 PM Tuesday and after 9 AM Wednesday at Sand Spring Baptist Church.

Honorary bearers will be the members of the Pairs and Spares Sunday School class at Sand Spring.
