Wallace Franklin "Hank" Bean, 84, husband of Janet Gill Bean, passed away December 23, 2021 at his home in Lawrenceburg.  Born in Lawrenceburg, KY on August 10, 1937, Hank was the son of the late Christopher Lee Bean and Madge Todd Bean.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by six siblings, Billy Bean, Bobby Bean, Roland Bean, Beulah Ann Gill, Lewis Davis Bean, and Lucien Bean.

A former employee for the Kentucky Department of Corrections, also Hank and his late father formerly worked for the Qualls family and Helen Short, previous owners of the Lawrenceburg Flower Shop.  He was a member of the Second Christian Church and enjoyed horse racing.

Including Janet, his wife of 60 years, he is survived by two children, Marian Todd Bean and Christopher Logan Bean, both of Lawrenceburg; 5 grandchildren, Sidnei and Seirra Barnett, Erin Elizabeth McKee, Eriel Yvonne McKee, Eric Alexander McKee; 5 great grandchildren; and a sister, Lacey Jane Cunningham of Lawrenceburg.

No services are scheduled.  Mr. Bean chose cremation.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.
