LAWRENCEBURG – Gregg Eichhorn, 56, of Lawrenceburg, KY passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at his home. Born December 12, 1958 in St. Paul, Minnesota, Gregg is the son of Roger Eichhorn of Houston, TX and the late Patricia Ann Lachowitzer Eichhorn.

Gregg received a B.A. Degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Bluegrass Community Technical College. He served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army and worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY and Bradford Square Nursing Home in Frankfort. Gregg was a talented woodworker making furniture, candle boxes and shelving.

Along with his father Gregg is survived by his wife Melissa Moore Eichhorn of Lawrenceburg; four children, Mason Bain Eichhorn and Ann Claire Eichhorn, of Lawrenceburg, Tynan Waterbury Eichhorn and Bryn Waterbury Eichhorn, of Lexington; two sisters, Lynn Eichhorn (Frank) of Blacksburg, VA, and Elise Eichhorn (Jon) of Oakland, CA; and a brother Kevin Eichhorn (Therese) of Harrodsburg, KY. Including his mother, he was also preceded in death by a sister Stacy Eichhorn.

A Celebration of Gregg's Life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Ninevah Christian Church, 1195 Ninevah Rd. Lawrenceburg, KY. Terry Cooper will officiate the service. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 9 am Saturday until time of service.
