Gloria Margaret Heckler Nicolosi, 76, wife of the late Alfred Paul "Fred" Nicolosi, passed away May 21, 2024 at Dominion Senior Living in Frankfort, KY.

Born in Lexington, KY on August 4, 1947, Gloria was the daughter of the late John Heckler and Vera Hillman Heckler.  Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, J.B. Heckler and a sister, Jean Glidden.

Gloria received her bachelor's degree in nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse at U.K. Medical Center, St. Joseph Hospital, and Central Kentucky Blood Center.  She and her husband were former co-owners of Glo-Marr Pet Products in Lawrenceburg.  An avid boater, Gloria enjoyed quilting, sewing, and showing her champion King Charles Cavalier Spaniels.

She is survived by her three daughters, Tafa (husband Wayne) Tamminga of Glasgow, KY, Kera (husband Bobby) Lenard of Mt. Juliet, TN, and Dawn Leoso (husband Chad) Duncan of Lawrenceburg; two stepchildren, Kerry (Rick) Kriseman of St. Petersburg, FL, and Steve (Cheryl) Nicolosi of Lawrenceburg; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; a niece and a nephew.

Visitation will be Friday, May 31, 2024 from 11 AM - 1 PM followed by the service beginning at 1:00 PM Friday, May 31, 2024, all at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Rev. Marcus Lynn will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Gloria's grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
