Glenda Gale Drury Cooper, 76, of Lawrenceburg passed away Thurs. , January 29, 2015 at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington. Born October 29, 1938 in Anderson County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Lurene Gritton Drury.

A 1956 graduate of Western High School, Glenda worked as a retail clerk for Klink's Drug Store and Fashion Place in Lawrenceburg. She was a member of the First Christian Church and the Christian Workers Circle.

Glenda is survived by her husband of 32 years, Donald Cooper; a son Craig "Jake" Jenkins and his wife Becky; a grandson, Jeremy Jenkins and his wife Melanie; a granddaughter, Lindsey Brown and her husband Jason; seven great grandchildren, Clay, Cole, Hunter, and Shelby-Lynn Jenkins, Bella, Taryn, and Kevin Brown, all of Lawrenceburg; a step-daughter, Tammai Hall and two step grandsons, Cooper and Caleb Hall of Louisville; special family, Ken, Jodi, KJ, and Kamryn Scobey, all of Florida; two sisters, Janice Goodlett and her husband Maurice, Peggy Drury and her husband Paul, all of Lawrenceburg; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her special Pizza Hut friends, Darlene Gillis, Nancy Allen, Margaret Armstrong, and Mary Jane Allen.

Along with her parents, Glenda was preceded in death by sister, Joy Drury Gabhart and her baby Jacob.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday, Feb. 2nd at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Rev. James Wheeler and Rev. Matt Sawyer officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 – 8 PM Sunday.

Pallbearers will be Craig, Jeremy, Clay, Cole, and Hunter Jenkins, Jason Brown, Timmy and Jeff Drury, and Brent Monroe. Honorary bearers will be Darlene Gillis, Nancy Allen, Margaret Armstrong, Mary Jane Allen, Geraldine Trent, Ann Cheek, Margaret Peach, Betty Kirby, Mary Stockton, Brenda Gritton, Barbara Hahn, Glenda Bogie, Mary Ann McGrath, Gina Green, Barbara Aldridge Stratton, and members of the First Christian Worker's Circle.
