LAWRENCEBURG – Gerald Wayne Drury, 71, passed away Wed., April 9, 2014 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. He is the son of the late Otis and Ruby Wells Drury.

He was a truck driver for Lawrenceburg Transfer for 30 years, Ellis Trucking for 14 years and a farmer. He attended the Alton Christian Church and was a member of the Fairview Christian Church.

Gerald is survived by his wife Kristi Lane Drury; four children, Janet (Bobby) Thompson, Sherry (Steve) Thomas, Missy (Terry) Drury, and Jeff W. (Becky) Drury; 8 grandchildren, Sarah (Patrick) Sea, Samantha (Matthew) Karsner, Zachary (Ashley) Thomas, Mallory, Courtney, Tristan, Hannah, and Eli Drury; 4 great grandchildren, Damien Shanks, Gaige Karsner, Elliot Sea, and Emma Kate Thomas; 4 sisters, Sharon (Tommy) Bickers, Judy Fain (Joe Durr), Doris Cornish, Brenda (Gerald) Peach; and a brother, Gary Drury. Including his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Leslie Dawn Drury and a sister, Roxie Carey.

Funeral services will be 11 am Monday, April 14th at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Bro. Noal Cotton, Jr. and Bro. Grant Mathes will officiate. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 – 7 pm Sunday.

Pallbearers are Tristan Drury, Tommy Bickers, Joe Durr, Kenny Smith, Wesley and Michael Ellis, Jeff Deaton. Honorary bearers are Mark Drury, Louis Sea, Bobby Fain, Bill Puckett, Glen Carey, Bradley Fain.
