Georgia B. Maddox Goodlett, 72, wife of Robert L. Goodlett, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Signature Health Care – Heritage Hall. Born April 21, 1945 in Anderson County, Georgia was the daughter of the late George Gilbert Maddox and Dorothy Alice Drury Maddox.

Georgia was a retired employee of Texas Instruments in Versailles and a member of the Alton Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and canning.

Along with her husband, Georgia is survived by her siblings, Mildred Jean (Ricky) Darnell, Edith (Chris) Richardson, John Gilbert (Shirley) Maddox, Betty Sue (William "Dub") Barnett, Elaine Spicer, and S. Marie (Allen) Hellard, all of Lawrenceburg, and a brother-in-law, Ronnie Wolfe of Harrison, OH.

Including her parents, Georgia was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Josephine Maddox and Shirley Wolfe.

Services will be held on Friday, March 16 ^th beginning at 2:00 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Bro. Ronnie Wolfe will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in the Alton Cemetery in Anderson County, KY. Visitation will be held from 5 – 8 PM Thursday.
