George Anderson Cason, Jr., 76, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Baptist Health Louisville. Born October 19, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan, George was the son of the late George Anderson Cason, Sr. and Florence Lee Montgomery Cason.

Mr. Cason worked as an employee for the former Great Lakes Steel in Michigan.

Mr. Cason is survived by his three children, Timothy Edward Cason and Guy Anderson Cason, both of Michigan, and Lita Renee Cason of Louisville; a step-son, James Everett Smith, Jr. of Michigan; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and a sister, George Anne Cason of California. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by a grandchild and three siblings, Barbara Cason, Gilbert Cason and Gregory Cason.

Cremation was chosen. A service will be held on Thursday, June 15 ^th for Mr. Cason in Louisville.
