Gayle Bond Sea Thacker, 79, of Lawrenceburg passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home. She was the widow of James "Chink" Thacker and daughter of the late Thomas and Thelma Bond Sea.

She was a retired employee of Texas Instruments and a member of the Sand Spring Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, fishing, camping, reading cookbooks, and cooking.

Mrs. Thacker is survived by her son, Eddie (Sandy) Thacker; two grandchildren, Tiffany (Brad) Sizemore and Luke Thacker; two great grandchildren, Ethan and Nate Sizemore, all of Lawrenceburg; a sister, Nellie Jean Young of Louisville. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Diane Warford and Brenda Wells; and two brothers, Claibourne and Becham Sea.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Wednesday, April 9th at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Hamrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Sand Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 – 8 PM Tuesday.
