Gayle Edward Satterly, age 71, passed away at his home in Lawrenceburg. Gayle was born September 11, 1954 in Anderson County, KY to the late Eugene Russell Satterly and Nancy Jewel Monroe Dearman.

Gayle was a Ford car fanatic. He loved collecting, driving, and fixing up all different types of Ford vehicles. When Gayle was younger, he enjoyed going to Ohio to drag race cars. Gayle was also known by his loved ones as being a quiet homebody. He retired from the state, while there he was a road inspector for the Department of Transportation.

Along with his parents, Eugene Russell Satterly and Nancy Jewel Monroe Dearman; Gayle was preceded in death by his brothers; William E. Satterly, James R. Satterly, and Noal L. Satterly, and a niece Denise Lynn Curtsinger.

Gayle is survived by his brother, Scottie Allen Satterly, and his nephews; Russell (Tiffany) Satterly and Mike Satterly.

Gayle Satterly's family has chosen cremation. Arrangements were entrusted to Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.
