Gary Clark "Woodchuck" Driskell, age 57, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024 in Lexington.  Woodchuck was born December 29, 1966 in Frankfort, Kentucky to Betty Carol Drury Driskell of Lawrenceburg and the late Rodger Clark Driskell.

Including his father, Woodchuck was preceded in death by a daughter, Dezarae Driskell.

Woodchuck was a graduate of Western Anderson High School in Anderson County, a retired Truck Driver with the Kentucky State Government Transportation Department, and a farmer.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and operating heavy machinery.

Including his mother Betty, he is survived by his children, Jonathan Driskell wife Mariah of Salvisa, Cassie Cox of Harrodsburg, and Kevin Bechstein wife Stephanie of Lawrenceburg; a sister, Donna Conway husband Richard of Lawrenceburg; a brother, Jason Driskell (George Wright) of Springfield; grandchildren, Isaic, Rayleigh, Blessing, Brantley, Gracie Alaiyna and Ian, who will be here any day.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Josh Rucker officiating.  Burial will follow in the Driskell Family Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 A.M. till time of service at 1:00 P.M.

Casket bearers will be Wally Bechstein, Michael "Flash" McIntosh, Eric Thompson, Isaic Cox, Chris Johnson & Matthew Summitt.
