Gail Mitchell Johns, 70, wife of Allen Johns, passed away Monday, January 24, 2022 at her home.  She was born May 20, 1951 in Paris, KY, daughter of Frances Puckett Bowman of Nicholasville and the late Raymond Mitchell.

Along with her father, Gail was preceded in death by her beloved grandson, Ethan "Edog" Presley.

Including her husband Allen and mother Frances, she is survived by three children, Marti Turpin, Shelli (husband Jeremy) Murray, and Teddy Tomlinson; two grandchildren Amber and Chris; eight great grandchildren, Kaylee Madison, Ryder, Abigail, Sophia, Rayahna, Savara, and Kiler; and her siblings Jackie Clough, Charlotte Dotson, Cheryl Harrison, Bonnie Bowman, Steve Johns, Jerry Harrison, and Robert Johns;  and two half brothers, Ray and Scott Mitchell.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, February 1 ^st from 10 AM – 12 Noon at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Graveside service will follow beginning at 1:30 PM Tuesday, Feb. 1 ^st at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Jessamine County.
