Freida Isabel Gosser was born on July 19, 1927, in Casey County Kentucky. She was the fifth born of eight children to parents: Herbert and Mertie Gosser.

She was married, August 4, 1945, to Denzil Richardson in Jamestown, KY after Denzil returned home from WW II.

The Richardsons spent several years evangelizing and also pastoring churches in Kentucky, Alabama, and Indiana. Four children were born into their home.  In October, 1962, they were appointed by the United Pentecostal Church, INT'L as Missionaries to the Philippine Islands. The Richardson family went by freighter ship for 18 days and landed in the Philippines in June 1962. After a five-year term there, they were asked to go to Madagascar and landed there in the capital city in June 1969. While pioneering a new work, they eventually had their first service in the garage of their home in February 1970.

Retiring after almost 20 years in Foreign Missionary service, they returned to the USA and again pastored churches…one in Jackson, TN and the last one in Lawrenceburg, KY.

Her husband, Denzil, preceded her in death on June 27, 2010. She is survived by her four children: Judith Gaye Isaacs, of Lexington, Ky; Jerry Ray Richardson (Vickie) of Columbia, TN; Randall Wayne (Theresa) Richardson of Marysville, Ohio; and Cathy Kay (Rob) Ekstrom of Orwell, VT; 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.  She was the fifth born of eight children and preceded in death by all 7 siblings.

Funeral service will 2:00 PM Monday, September 20 ^th at the Lawrenceburg United Pentecostal Church with Pastor Mike Seidenfaden officiating.  Burial will follow at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery alongside her husband.  Visitation will be prior to the service on Monday from 12 – 2 PM at the church.
