William Franklin "Frank" Disponett, Jr., 71, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024 in Anderson County.  Frank was born January 22, 1953 in Versailles, KY to the late William "Rab" Disponett and Ada Mae Robinson Disponett.

Frank was a former mechanic with Pro Lift in Lexington, KY. He loved being a mechanic and could work on anything from cars to lawn mowers to tractors. Frank enjoyed spending time with his friends, talking, laughing, and hunting and also liked sharing stories about Flucy, his favorite dog. Frank also enjoyed horses and owned several in his lifetime. But his favorite was King, who lived to be over 34 years old.

Frank is survived by his three daughters, Christin Disponett Cook (Dwayne) of Frankfort, Chasity Disponett (Zeb Murphy) and Hannah Disponett, all of Lawrenceburg; two grandchildren, Walker Fayne and Dixie Disponett; his siblings, Wanda Rainwater, Rosemary Neal and Perry Wayne Disponett, all of Jessamine County; his cousin and close friends, Jack and Deannia Adams of Lawrenceburg.

Including his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Carlton Disponett; and a granddaughter, Daisy Mae Disponett.

A celebration of Frank's life will be held at a later date.

Honorary bearers will be Mike Satterly, Dalton "Buck" Satterly and Jamey Vaughn.
