Francie "Candy" Faith Blazie Anglin, age 77, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026. A beloved wife, sister, stepmother, and friend, Candy brought a sweet, compassionate, and faithful presence to the lives of all who knew her.

Candy was born on September 18, 1948, in Detroit. At the age of three, her family relocated to Frankfort, where she grew up and spent her formative years. She was known for her gentle nature and her lifelong love of animals, especially dogs and cats.

Candy graduated from University of Kentucky in 1970. She devoted most of her professional career to social services in Frankfort, serving through positions with both state and federal government agencies. Her work reflected her compassion and commitment to helping others.

A woman of deep faith, Candy was a devoted parishioner of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, guiding her daily actions and providing strength, comfort, and community throughout the years.

Candy is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 50 years, Bob Anglin; her stepdaughter, Bobbie Adams; her stepson William Quinn; her brothers, Joseph Blazie and his wife, Helen, and Deane Blazie and his wife, Marty; and her brother-in-law, Ben Quinn. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents and by her dear sister, Diane Quinn, who passed away earlier this year. Candy's memory will be cherished by her family, extended relatives, and the many friends whose lives she touched.

In accordance with Candy's wishes, there will be no traditional funeral service. Instead, a memorial gathering celebrating her life and spirit will be held at a later date, with details to be announced by the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or a local humane society in Candy's memory.

Candy's kindness, faith, gentle spirit, and love for both people and animals will be remembered always. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and quiet strength that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
