Floyd Maloney, Jr., 82, passed away September 10, 2021 at his home in Lawrenceburg.  Born February 9, 1939 in Lee County, KY, Floyd was the son of the late Floyd Maloney, Sr. and Ida Combs Maloney.

A retired employee of Hurstland Farms in Midway, KY, he enjoyed hunting and was known for his speed in picking apples.

Left to treasure his memory are his daughters, Teresa Lee (Eric) Harris and Sherry (Mike) Carnahan, both of Lawrenceburg, and Diane (Kipp) Waller of Frankfort; grandchildren, Brandon Hawkins, Michael Harper, Tiffany Harper, Kory Waller, Sydney Waller, Jared Travis, and Jarrod (Kaela) Carnahan; great grandchildren Savanah Robinson, Jaxson West, Blake Harper, and Cheyenne Harper; a sister Jackie Lee Lauritsen of Arizona; a special friend Debbie Maloney; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Seth Carnahan, two brothers Charles and Clarence Maloney, and a sister Arvada Maloney Thomas.

A service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, Sept. 14 ^th at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery pavilion with Bro. Don Wells officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Hawkins, Michael Harper, Kory Waller, Jared Travis, and Jarrod Carnahan.   Honorary bearers will be Tiffany Harper and Sydney Waller.
