Floyd Thomas Aldridge, 87, beloved husband of Patricia Ann Bryant Aldridge, passed away on August 1, 2025 in Okeechobee, FL. He was born on September 10, 1937 in Frankfort, KY, to the late Chester Aldridge and Edith Wooldridge Aldridge.

Floyd enjoyed a long career with Universal Fasteners, where he retired as a supervisor. A proud and dedicated member of Masonic Lodge #90, he served for over 50 years. In his free time, Floyd could often be found fishing, watching westerns, or reading western-themed novels—simple pleasures he cherished.

Floyd is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 13 years, Patricia; his children, Loyd Aldridge (Carol), Tina Snow (Steve), Timothy Aldridge, and Melissa Collins (Danny); his stepchildren, Dawn Catlett (Billy Powell), Crystal Hackathorn (Matt), Brittany Price (Jon), and Shane Sutton (Emily); and 12 cherished grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Floyd was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Lou Aldridge; a stepdaughter Modena Sutton; a half-sister Jane Grider; and a half-brother, Wilmer Aldridge.

A funeral service will take place on Friday, August 15th at 7:00 PM at Ritchie & Peach with Pastor F.D. Robinson, Jr. officiating. Masonic rites will be conducted prior to the start of the service at 6:30 PM. Visitation will take place from 4:00 PM until the start of the service. A private burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens will take place at a later date.

Serving as pallbearers will be Shane Sutton, Danny Collins, Steve Cornish, Steve Snow, Chris Williams, Dudley Darnell, Jr., and Trey Darnell. Members of the Masonic Lodge will serve as honorary bearers.
